The Scotia Band originated in 1935, and has been performing continuously ever since. 75 Years… |
We recently completed our 75th Anniversary week between August 8-15, 2010, culminating in a special concert at the Fortuna River Lodge, and celebrated during the remainder of 2010 at each of our usual performances. We thank all of you that were able to join us for our celebration; it was terrific to have so many alumni present to join us. Please see the Calendar page for specific dates and times of our future performances. We hope you will again be with us, and we look forward to providing entertainment for the greater Eel River Valley for years to come. We are currently gathering information and working on the creation of a book to feature the 75 years of Scotia Band. With adequate funding, we hope to have this book completed and available for purchase in the latter part of 2011. |
